Casting call for EXTRAS Sunday 9/27 in IOWA CITY
“Collapse,” the feature film from Iowa Film Production Services/Storybench, will be holding an open casting call on Sunday, September 27 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Robert A Lee Community Center, 220 S Gilbert St in Iowa City.
The staff of PMS Casting is seeking extras and background actors of all ages for scenes taking place at a track meet, bank and various street locations in and around the Iowa City area. There will be some compensation for those selected to appear in the film.
Principal photography begins Wednesday, Sept. 30. The film will be shot in Johnson and Iowa counties over the course of five weeks. This is IFPS/Storybench’s third feature, following “The Offering” and “Splatter.”
“Collapse” was written by Ottumwa’s Mike Saunders and will be directed by Saunders and fellow Ottumwan Jason Bolinger. Producing is Bruce Heppner-Elgin of Washington.
